Laminations

You should use a label laminate when you want to give your printed label extra protection from moisture, abrasion, and light, as well as things like scuffing, smudges and fingerprints. Laminates can also boost the visual appeal of your labels with a smoother finish.

Gloss Laminate

Clear BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) Overlaminate film with a clear permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive. Ideal for milk jugs, water bottles and general-purpose labeling while offering excellent acid, chemical, oil and scuff resistance.

Matte Laminate

Matte BOPP overlaminate film with a clear permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive. Provides a soft non-glare finish and is receptive to pen, pencil or marker. Ideal for beverage, food and cosmetic labels where attractive, high-end appearance is desired. Commonly used to enhance durability in harsh environments. Appropriate for high moisture and high abrasion packaging applications.

Stocks

Stocks are the base material that your labels will be printed on. Label stocks come in a wide variety of materials, each with its own unique properties that will affect the look, feel, and performance of the final label. When choosing a stock, you should consider factors like the type of product, the environment, and the aesthetics you want to achieve. Burke Group offers many different stock options.
